October Monthly Newsletter

Hello October!

I have deja vu as I type this. In our September newsletter I was talking about Hurricane Debby and now I'm talking about Hurricane Helene. I think everyone can relate when I say, no more storms please!!!

We were impacted by all 3 that have come ashore in the Big Bend in the last 13 months but thankfully we have been very fortunate. We lost the majority of our barn in Idalia and the rest is gone from Helene but all of our animals are safe and so is our family! We will rebuild the barn and clean up the mess from the trees and forge on.

We are praying for everyone that was devastated by Helene in the Appalachian region and along our coast lines.

Our customers (as well as us) picked up the beef we took to the processor in August. We are so happy to have a full freezer again! One of our customers sent us this message: "Jade, the beef is great! We did a comparison, yours won easily." -Chuck F.

What an honor it is to provide nutritious beef to our customers!

We have weaned this years calves and they have settled into their new field. They were almost 8 months old and it was definitely time for their mamas to have a break! Our bull hasn't been as reliable as we hoped so we have kept back one of his calves and he will be our new bull. He is looking really good!! Junior will be going to work soon and we cannot wait to see his calves.

All of our kids are big helpers around the farm and we love teaching them this lifestyle!

A big thank you once again to our customers for trusting us to raise their beef and we hope you all have a great month!

Thank you for supporting our farm,

The Vincent Family

Hello and Happy New Year! January has been cold so far in North Florida and we have flurries forecasted for next week! 🥶 ❄️ Our cows are getting plenty of hay and that’s the most important thing in keeping them warm. Their stomachs act as a furnace so as long as they have forage in front of them, they will stay warm! The calves also love to sleep in the hay. We will have beef available every month this year. And we are off to a great start - we are almost sold out through March. If you know...
