September Monthly Newsletter

Hi There!

August was a whirlwind - literally! Our area had another direct hit from a major hurricane. Debby was more of a rain event and since our property sits high we were spared any flooding. We had some trees damaged but nothing compared to Idalia last year, thank goodness!

We took a couple of cows to the butcher this month and our customers, as well as us, will be picking up our fresh beef next week! I cannot wait to fill our freezer.

We will have another one ready in a month or so and there's a half left - reply to this email if you're interested!

We found a butcher that will do retail cuts for us. This will give us the ability to sell individual cuts. We are looking for a Farmer's Market to attend weekly and we will use that as a pick up location. We can't wait to see more of our customers in person!

We homeschool our three middle boys so we have also had a busy month "back to school" and getting back to some of their activities!

A big thank you to our customers for trusting us to raise their beef and we hope you all have a great month!

Thank you for supporting our farm,

The Vincent Family

Happy Thanksgiving! I don't know about you, but I love Thanksgiving. I like to take time to reflect on the year and be grateful for all the experiences - both good and not so good - this past year has had. I'm constantly in awe of the work God is doing in our lives and we are just so, so blessed to be farming as a family. This is literally the life my husband and I dreamed of for many years and it is not lost on us that we are living it! This year we have provided approximately 1,350lbs of...

Hello October! I have deja vu as I type this. In our September newsletter I was talking about Hurricane Debby and now I'm talking about Hurricane Helene. I think everyone can relate when I say, no more storms please!!! We were impacted by all 3 that have come ashore in the Big Bend in the last 13 months but thankfully we have been very fortunate. We lost the majority of our barn in Idalia and the rest is gone from Helene but all of our animals are safe and so is our family! We will rebuild...
